Nice job getting her down! Took me hours to solo her. I'm having to trade out all my cool offensive talismans for strong defensive ones to be able to survive and trade hits with bosses 😭 They also hide those Scadutree fragments in weird annoying places and it's hard to get leveled enough to not get one or two shot by every boss. With the talismans and blessings the bosses can be fun and manageable solo but it's a struggle...

ngl, while i thought rellana was one of the easier main bosses, i do now actively use her sword for my close ranged built tho and her shield is super pretty, but sadly its not as good as the haligtree greatshield + the twinmoon spell is amazing for aoe. my build as a magic knight might be quite niche, but she def had the only interesting loot for me in this whole dlc

To be fair, fights like Margit, Malenia, or Rellana are a test of skill and patience (sometimes sanity in the case of the latter two) for a melee based character. Good victory, like water.

Ana look up damage negation in Elden Ring. You need boiled crabs, some incantation and Dragoncrest Shield talisman which gives 20% negation. Also explore and get more scadutree fragments to level up shadow realm blessing. Good luck :) and cheers from Poland.

I went in this boss with Great Stars with Prayful Strike in heavy affinity. I spamed the crap out of the AOW and my mimic did the same. I add Bloodflame Blade for the bleed. Lightning Fortication helped a little.

Hi! I'm enjoying your playthrough but it looks like you're struggling with this fight. I have some tips, but I don't know if you accept backseat gaming. Feel free to delete this comment if you don't want tips. And perhaps you've already recorded a win by the time I'm commenting! General tips: - Be careful with your spell levels. You used all your high level spells on small enemies and then didn't have a lot left for the bosses. - Pay attention to your area effects. You made the floor icy and electrocuted and then walked through it. If you slip on ice you lose your turn. Shadowheart lost her concentration on spirit guardians because she fell (although I think you meant to have her go the other way and the game selected a path through the ice). I think Shadowheart is wearing boots that makes the ground electrify in water (it's wet because of the ice storm spell), but unless you have her on a lightning build, she's just gonna hurt herself with them. - Inspect the enemies and yourself regularly. It will tell you what the enemies are weak/resistant to, special abilities, etc. which is important for boss fights and it will update as needed. For example, some enemies may have special invulnerabilities or whatever for awhile that go away after some rounds or if they get debuffed, usually the description explains it. Gale's magic missles could barely hit Ketheric because of his resistances. And for yourself you can check your statuses. For example Shadowheart was bone chilled, so she could not regain HP, and then used a healing spell on herself but couldn't heal from it, so she wasted a turn. - Positioning can be very critical. You have all casters which isn't necessarily bad for this fight, but you had your two wizards up in melee range and they are squishy. The bosses can down them in a turn on balanced if they roll well. Aylin is fairly tanky (though tbh on my playthroughs she just gets downed and I ignore her once she's freed, she's immortal so she'll survive the fight no matter what). Jaheira can also tank with her animal form if need be. Shadowheart is tankier than your wizards but she risks losing concentration on her spirit guardians or whatever if she gets hit. - Gear makes a HUGE difference on how strong your characters are, but you have to be reading the descriptions to find out what they do and what works with your classes and it can take awhile to learn which some players aren't going to care to learn. On balanced, you don't necessarily need to pay much attention to it, but you can do way more damage with the right gear. In act 3 there's a lot more way more powerful gear too. Gale will suggest somewhere he wants to go at the end of this act, and there is lots of good stuff for wizards so it would be good to go there as soon as it's available since you have 2 wizards in the party. There are a few areas before you can get there though. - You may already know this but: All enemies get attacks of opportunity in this system (free attack for you if adjacent enemy moves or vice-versa once per round). There's a red symbol that shows if moving will trigger it. If you're maintaining concentration on a spell then moving can trigger an attack that causes you to lose it. For this fight: - Mindflayers can stun your characters and make them lose turns, so taking the one in this fight out early can be useful. It can really mess you up if you never get turns. - Aylin's far away so any tools to get there fast/stealthily are helpful. The boss can't take damage until she is free. - Note Myrkul's mobility or lack thereof... and the ways it can both hurt and help you :) The platform itself also has a special ability to pay attention to in the second phase. - The bosses are spawning more necromites. The little incubators will spawn them after a turn or two if you don't destroy them. However, there are too many necromites and incubators to waste turns on them if you're not getting them with an AOE. You CAN ignore them... though there may be consequences in the second phase. If you use single target attacks for them you likely won't have enough turns/actions to deal with them all. - There are some spells you have that are very OP if used optimally for this fight, but it can take some playing around to figure out what to use. Inspecting the enemy resistances/weaknesses can help. Various concentration AOEs can be useful. You can try the fight a few times to learn what works and doesn't. Wall of fire and spirit guardians are classics that work for most fights but you have to make sure you can maintain concentration (gear/builds can help a ton but if you don't wanna nitpick that stuff, just try to keep casters concentrating out of danger). FYI: your ability to maintain spell concentration is based on your character's constitution saving throw. You can improve it with feats and multiclassing, but this only really matters on the higher difficulties, otherwise your default is good enough. Just wanted to mention since the game does not make it clear that your con proficiency is what drives this. This game can be hard to learn if you don't play D&D based games regularly. I do play them and I still lost this one the first time I played it on balanced, it's tough!
